P.R.A.I.S.E. training consists of becoming aware and acting upon the following:
PREVENT the violence with situational awareness and de-escalation
REACT to the threat! Run! Hide! Fight! Get to safety!
ACTIVATE others to help stay safe and control the situation
INFORM 911! Police/Fire/ EMS
SAVE lives by caring for the injured before help can arrive.
EVACUATE to rescue. Use alternate routes.
Most trainers only teach you how to react to the violence as it’s happening. At TLT Defense, we want to help you with all stages of violence. Our first priority is to prevent the violence from happening. If you can’t prevent it, you need to handle the next stages and TLT helps you be mentally prepared for it.
